- Critical infrastructure security
- Quantum security
- Software security

The major aim of the course is to help you better understand what’s involved with R&D and the key things you need to consider at each step of the process so that you can apply this knowledge as you advance along your innovation journey. You’ll be exposed to knowledge from innovation and industry experts and have access to networking opportunities with researchers and R&D mentors. More specifically, the program will help you: refine your research question; develop a value proposition, business case, and funding proposal; and learn how to best work in partnership with the research sector on your R&D project.
To be eligible to participate in the 10-week course, you must currently be working in the cyber security sector or have identified a new opportunity relevant to cyber security, and you must have a clear need to develop your skills in R&D.
